ECHO (under DIPECHO 7 project) and ACT Alliance donated humanitarian aid for flood victims (priority to poor and vulnerable families), 577 families, as food items and non food items through CWS and our CNGO partner - Rural Development Association, DanChurchAid/ Christian Aid and FinnChurchAid, Life With Dignity and in cooperation with Provincial Committee for Disaster Management. Each family received 15,000 Riels (instead of 15 canned fish), 25 kg of rice, 2 liters of cooking oil and 1 kg of iodized salt. The distribution was taken place in Banteay Meanchey on October 20-21 and Battambang on October 22, 2011:

  • Banteay Meanchey: 400 families in 18 villages, 2 communes (Sambour and Kouk Ballangk), Mongkol Borey district.

  • Battambang: 177 families in 6 villages, 2 communes (Ta Meun and Boeng Pring) in Thma Koul district.
