CWS contributed $3,000 to aid LWD in the distribution of food items and water tanks to IDP families affected by the Khmer-Thai border conflict.

The donation worth about $10,000 and consisted of 8,000 cans of canned fish, 600kg of dried salted fish, 400kg of sweet dried radish, 800 litres of vegetable oil and 3 2,000 litre water tanks.

The support was distributed by CWS, LWD and DCA directly to 707 families with total number of 3,142 members (1,529 wemen) from four villages of Sangkat Bansay Rak in Samraong Town, in cooperation with local authorities from provincial and village levels.

The number of people in each village:

1. Bansay Rak Village - 226 families
   - Population: 903
   - Female: 459
2. Sambumeas Village - 135 families
   - Population: 587
   - Female: 308
3. Kamnob Village - 179 families    - Population: 1071
   - Female: 506
4. Romdoul Veasna Village - 167 families
   - Population: 581
   - Female: 256
